A dog-friendly Suffolk barn — with the footpath from the gate.
Otto's Barn is a luxury dog-friendly holiday let in Offton, Suffolk. Two dogs are welcome — the enclosed south-facing garden is fully secure, the tiled kitchen forgives muddy paws, and the footpath network starts at the garden gate.
— What we offer dogs
Built with muddy paws in mind.
Very few Suffolk holiday lets are properly set up for dogs. Enclosed gardens are rare. Walks straight from the door are rarer. Otto's Barn was restored with our own Goldador Otto in mind — so it works for yours too.
The garden is enclosed on all four sides with sturdy fencing and a self-closing gate. Inside, the ground floor is stone-tiled with underfloor heating — practical for wet paws, warm underfoot after a walk. There's a dog bed by the fire, a bowl and a towel by the boot room, and two dogs are welcome as standard (no extra charge).
Beyond the garden gate, the Suffolk footpath network is immediate — no need to drive to a walk. Three curated routes are mapped on our Country Walks page: a short 1.5km loop, a 5km through the woods, and a 9km field-and-lane circuit that takes in the local pub.
The village pub, the Lindsey Rose, is dog-friendly. And for a day out, the Suffolk coast is an hour east — Aldeburgh and Southwold both allow dogs on the sand year-round outside of the height of summer.
